Man, oh man!!

Well, it's been so very long since I've posted anything on my blog...so it's way overdue that I let the one person (if that, lol) that reads this, know how I'm doing. In my last entry, I wrote that I was looking for some type of job that would sustain me...I, thankfully, found one. Since then, I've been working part-time and going to school for digital photography part time. It has been going so very very well!! I've met some wonderful people, continued shooting as much as I've possibly can, moved 3 different times within the year and my photography has improved by leaps and bounds...

Recently, though I've found myself surrounded by nothing but creative people and feeding off of their energy has helped me tremendously. I am part of several photographers groups in town, have assisted in all kinds of awesome shoots (even one for InStyle Magazine!!) and have been contracted to do wedding photography (which I am nervous about, but I'm preparing for). In school I've learned so much about the technical side of photography and that has inspired me to pick up my camera and try new things and techniques to improve. I've started a page on facebook which has aided my addiction to that social network, making it harder and harder to get anything done.

Some people have left my life and others have been introduced and I'm quite happy with the turnout!! Starting now I will be writing about nothing but photography!! I'll be discussing techniques, posting photos for critique and trying out new things under the microscope of this blog. Hope you all will join in and guide this blog to be a successful one!!
